Melaney currently teaches gentle, breath-centered group yoga classes geared for beginners;  “I offer a therapeutic approach that uses a range of tools (e.g. breath-centered yoga poses, seated breath work, sound, meditation…) to facilitate personal health and transformation. I view yoga as a profound means to cultivate not only physical flexibility and strength but mental stability, clarity and balance so that students can better manage the challenges of everyday life. I tailor classes to support the unique needs of practitioners.”

“I am a registered Yoga Teacher and in training to become a certified Yoga Therapist through “Yoga as Therapy North America (YATNA)” based at Vanderbilt University. This school is rooted in the authentic and comprehensive teachings of the legendary yoga master T. Krisnamacharya as transmitted through his son TKV Desikachar. “Viniyoga” is the name Mr. Desikachar suggested his students use to denote this tradition of yoga and my training is in this tradition. As my training progresses, I will eventually begin teaching individual, one-on-one yoga therapy sessions in addition to group classes.

Cultivate a flexible, strong body and a calm, clear mind through gentle, breath-centered yoga. A therapeutic approach rooted in ancient healing yoga practices that promote steadiness and ease of well-being.

All classes are suitable for beginners and the yoga poses can be modified as needed to accommodate participants’ needs.

Yoga mats and blankets (for sitting) provided.

$10 per class or 6 for $45

Experience the 8:30 AM Workout with Kimber as she takes you through a combination of Tai Chi, Yoga and Pilates finished up with a nice meditation.

  Tuesdays and Fridays from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM

 Bring $5, a yoga mat,  water bottle and come prepared to enjoy yourself!
